Today we went to the American Hospital where we had an appointment with dr. Aydin. Hopefully we will find out what is wrong with Quint. After a moment we were led into one of the treatment rooms. The nurse took all required info and told us that the doctor would be in shortly.
When the Doctor arrived we told him that our family doctor found Quint a bit yellowish and that the blood values showed something that was not right. All test were done at the american hospital and the results should be there as well. While searching for them, dr Aydin inquired about our family doctor as he did not share her concern. When he finally found the results, he told us that it must be a typo as he had never seen such high values. For him Quint was still healthy.
We demanded another bloodtest to which he reluctantly agreed. The results of the 2nd bloodtest confirmed the first one. Our family doctor was right. We now received a referral for Dr. Waseem a specialized pedeatric gastro-enterologist.

Blood Test
After 11 days, we went for check-up with Quint to the Emirates (company) clinic doctor. She found Quint a bit yellowish on his chest. She decided to do a bloodtest and later that day she called us that the results where a little bit high and she recommended to do another bloodtest the next day.
The next day Quint had another bloodtest and the doctor called us in the afternoon and sounded very concerned and she advised us to go to the emergency room of the hospital to let quint be checked by a pediatric physician. At that moment, mama Shirley was in the Burj al Arab, together with her mother and aunty Heleen enjoying a high tea which had to be interrupted immediately to rush home and pick up Quint en dad Oscar.
The pediatric physician on Duty at the hospital checked Quint and he saw no reason for panic. He advised us to come back two days later and do another bloodtest. We where send home with the message that Quint looked very healthy....
